Let us guide you to the best Restaurants in Whistler
Where should I go for dinner?
-
RimRock Cafe
I didn’t understand this place until I went for the first time. The name is kind of misleading, but this is the best place for steak, game, and seafood in Whistler. Just outside of Creekside Village, it is tucked away and has a cosy cabin vibe. Service is great and the food is even better.

Red Door Bistro
Hidden away in Creekside, this place is hands down the biggest secret in Whistler. Reservations are an absolute must as there isn’t a ton of room here, and reservations often fill up months in advance. Amazing locally sourced food with a great standard menu and frequent specials. The wine list is also extensive and well worth some exploration.
-
Il Caminetto
This is the quintessential classic high-end italian restaurant in Whistler. Service is always top knotch and the food is always some of the best. The focaccia and bolognese are two things that are not to be missed.
-
Sushi Village
A whistler classic. No trip to whistler is complete without a trip to sushi village. Reservations are only accepted for groups of 6+. If you are less than 6, show up at 5 pm and get your name on the list - several hour waits are not out of the ordinary here.
-
Nagomi Sushi
I like to think of this as Sushi Village’s toned down and refined sister. The two restaurants are not at all related, but if you are looking for a classic Japanese sushi experience with VERY good sushi, this is the place to go. Slightly out of the madness of the village at the base of Blackcomb. Reservations recommended, but you can usually get one same-day.
-
Mekong
A relatively new addition to the Whistler culinary scene, this place serves some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. You do pay for what you get, but rumour has it that they fly in fresh Thai ingredients regularly. You will find authentic Thai food here and it won’t be for everybody, but if you’re in the mood it will deliver.
-
Harujuku
A great place for larger groups of people. Japanese style small plates which are great to share or have a few to yourself. The total cost can get away from you pretty quickly once you start ordering 3+ dishes. Top tip - you can order ramen from next door Ohyama Ramen if that’s what you are looking for. Reservations recommended.
-
CreekBread
The best sit-down pizza joint in Whistler. Obviously located in Creekside (across the highway), this place serves up farm-to-table wood-fired pizzas. Typically offering two special pizzas every night - one meat special, one veggie special. Half and half of each is the pro-order here. The Mopsy (Khalua pork & pineapple) and Pemberton potato pie (add bacon) are what they are famous for on the regular menu.
-
Quattro
Great Italian food at a bit of a hidden location in the village. Insanely tasty pasta at a fairly premium price. This is a smaller restaurant with a bit more of an intimate feel.
