The castle at the base of Blackcomb. It’s massive, busy, and runs like a well-oiled machine. It holds the title for arguably the best ski-in/ski-out location in town if you are skiing Blackcomb. You honestly never need to leave the building; you have skiing or golf right out the front door, and the Mallard Lounge is iconic for live music. Portobello on the ground floor is a great cafe for breakfast or lunch

The spot to go if you want to be near the action, but not in it. Located in the Upper Village, this brings the white-glove service you’d expect from the brand. The rooms are huge and feel more like apartments than hotel rooms. The elephant in the room? It is not ski-in/ski-out. Don't let the marketing fool you; it’s a short walk or a shuttle ride to the base, though their "ski concierge" service takes the sting out of it.
